The program entitled "Romanian-Hungarian cross-border cultural incubator for the performing arts" is progressing well. The project, which is being implemented as part of the European Union tender, enriches the common cultural values of the two countries.
Cleanliness, comfort and state-of-the-art architectural solutions. This is what the cultural institution known by the people of Debrecen as the Latinovits Theater will look like, which is expected to be completed by the spring of 2021.
The program includes the development of the Szigliget Theater in Oradea, but also includes cross-border joint workshops and performances.
The main goal of the project, which is almost 7.5 million euros, ie more than 2.4 billion forints, is to facilitate the free movement of artists and cultural professionals, thus contributing to the maintenance of the common cultural heritage of the two countries.
